Terms of Service

Plain terms for using hutt.in. Last updated 30 August 2026. By using Hutt you accept them.

What Hutt is

Hutt lists stays that are suitable for working remotely, and connects you with the people who run them. We are not the host. The stay itself — the room, the Wi-Fi, the welcome — is provided by an independent host. Your agreement about the stay is with them.

Booking

Right now, a request through Hutt is a request, not a confirmed booking. We check with the host and come back to you. Nothing is reserved until we confirm it, and no payment is taken on this site. Prices shown are estimates from the host’s rates and may change before confirmation.

The Work Score

Every listing carries a Work Score out of 100, covering connection speed, power backup, workspace and quiet. We measure it ourselves on a visit, and it reflects conditions on the day we measured.

It is an honest assessment, not a guarantee. Broadband fails, power cuts happen, a neighbour starts building. If a stay is materially worse than its Work Score says, tell us at hello@hutt.in — we will investigate, correct the score, and delist stays that misrepresent themselves.

What we are responsible for

We are responsible for running this platform honestly: describing stays as we found them, passing your request to the host, and correcting things we get wrong.

We are not responsible for what happens during a stay, since we are not the host and do not control the property. Nothing here removes rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other Indian law that cannot be signed away.

Content and conduct

Do not post anything unlawful, misleading or not yours to post. We may remove content or close accounts that break these terms, and we will tell you why.

Changes and disputes

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do. These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. If something has gone wrong, email hello@hutt.in first — most things are fixable that way.
